Hello everyone!
If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you know I have been painting a bunch of chubby birds for the past few weeks! I thought it would be fun to post all of the birds that I have so far here on my blog! I will post the rest when I finish them in a separate blog post.
To paint these tubby birds, I have been using a mixture of watercolor, gouache, and colored pencil. I like to use watercolor to give a soft, fluffy feel to the birds, then I add gouache for a few opaque pops of color, and finally, I use some colored pencil to give a little texture where I want it.
